29 Oct 2006 – Longbranch Pennywhistle
“Longbranch Pennywhistle was a folk duo consisting of Glenn Frey and John David Souther.” (Wikipedia)
I quite like that title, because I like the word Pennywhistle for some reason. Sunday night has become my night for posting for some reason, it’s become a habit! Last night I went to Amie’s hen night in Basildon, even though she got married about a month ago, so it was kind of a post hen night. It was really good fun, we dressed as cowgirls, although Anna and I just wore our cowboy hats and I borrowed a pair of Sarah’s cowboy boots (she has about 95 pairs), but Kate and Amie and Lisa had guns, which they had to check they were allowed to take into the clubs etc, and we had a dance and a laugh! We even got given dare cards but I was quite glad that I didn’t have to go through with mine, because one of them involved collecting 5 condoms from different men, and the other one was to do the splits on the dance floor, which is physically impossible for me!Strictly update – Georgie left last night. It was a tad unfair, considering that she danced better than ever before (she did the Foxtrot), but at the same time I think that if she had come back last week, I think she probably would have dipped in form again, so it’s probably best for her to go out on a high, rather than be humiliated again next week. I was worried for Brendan this week, as it got to 3 couples left and he was still there, but then they said his name, thank goodness! And then it was between Jan & Anton and Georgie & James, and I didn’t want Jan & Anton to go because I like them, even though she isn’t particularly good! I can’t wait for the new James Bond film, Daniel Craig is yummy.Currently listening : Inside In/Inside Out By Kooks

06 Nov 2006 – Aiguilles Island
Aiguilles Island is an uninhabited island just to the northeast of Great Barrier Island in the North Auckland district of New Zealand. The island reaches a height of 120 metres and is 47km from the New Zealand mainland. (Wikipedia)
I like to think that people reading my blog (all 4 of you), learn a little something new everytime! Just think, if you are a pub quiz and a question comes up about Aiguilles Island, you might know the answer.I broke my Sunday night posting habit last night, as I was out. I went to see Click with my friend Steve, who I haven’t seen for years. We reminisced about the old days at Special Reserve, and then last night I dreamt that I was back at the Chelmsford shop, but Michael and Graham were there, and the shop was being closed down and we were there to help clear everything out. I was more concerned with looking through filing cabinets etc to see if there was anything left with my writing on it! And then there were a load of people returning things, because it was their last chance to do so, and then someone turned up with a prescription and I had to check with Graham that I was allowed to give them their drugs from the pharmacy. Very strange!Click was good, it was a little different to how I thought it was going to be, although it was very funny in places (it is Adam Sandler after all), it was also sad, it made me cry (although it doesn’t take a lot). Christopher Walken was suitably strange in it – as if he would be anything else, and the voice of Marge Simpson was in it, she sounded just like Marge! Strictly update – Jan & Anton left on Saturday. I was gutted for them, as she really didn’t want to leave, but it’s got to a really horrible stage now where everyone is fairly good, and it will be horrible for anyone to leave. Brendan and Claire were in the bottom two, they got terrible marks from the judges because they said that they choreography of the routine (they did a salsa) wasn’t very good. Mark was fantastic again, he and Karen started their routine but had to restart it because after about a minute of dancing, they got their microphone wires tangled and couldn’t get apart from one another! I was really worried that they weren’t going to be allowed to carry on, but they were and they were fab and got top marks from the judges! Evidently I am not at work today – I have today and tomorrow off. Tomorrow I am going shopping to London, today I am just having a bit of a lazy day. I had to go to the doctor’s today (blood pressure: normal), and I’m supposed to be tidying my room but I’ve been doing some Christmas shopping on t’internet. 19 Nov 2006 – Flora Annie Steel
Flora Annie Steel (April 2, 1847 – 1929) was an English writer. She was the daughter of George Webster. (Wikipedia)
I’ve just spent £26 on a DVD boxset on Ebay. I knew it was a mistake to be online when the bidding ended. I try to stay away, so if I’m outbid I can just moan and swear about it without being lured into increasing my bid. I was prepared to spend £20, the postage was £5 so my highest bid was £15, and I thought that would be my maximum bid, but of course it wasn’t, and when someone outbid me I had to up my bid. I have to have this DVD, it is series 4 of The West Wing, and I think it might be the best series I have seen so far (I’m almost at the end of series 5). But whether or not I should have bought it before Christmas is another matter! Oh well, it’s done now, so I’ll just have to watch what I spend for now.Strictly update – Peter and Erin left last night. It was a shame, because it was Peter’s birthday yesterday, and he’s just so lovely. I love him especially at the moment, because last week I had a dream about him, and he was lovely and he hugged me and it was great, because he’s so huge that I imagine a hug from him would be fab! But to be honest, it was probably the fairest result for him to go, because he’s the weakest one there now I think. Last week, Ray and Camilla went, which was a shock, but that’s the way the cookie crumbles! People don’t necessarily vote for the best dancer, they vote for their favourite. Matt and Lilia got a 10, from Len! I always think that the best 10 to get would be one from Len, or maybe Craig. Bruno gives them out slightly too easily, he gave Louisa one in about week 3, and I think it should have been a 9. My arm hurts, I had my flu jab on Friday, and it feels all tight and achey. Also, my thumb on that hand feels a bit funny, so I hope it’s all OK! I’m going to the hospital on Tuesday for an eye test, so hopefully if it’s going to drop off, it will do so then, so I’ll be in the right place! I went to Tanya’s hen night on Friday, we went to Oscars in Southend, and it was fun! We got there from Maldon in a converted fire engine, there were seats in the back, with music and disco lights, and we had a glass of champagne! It was good, although it made me feel a bit travel sick, especially on the way back when I had vodka inside me! There was the usual hen night shenanigans, I had a nipple thrust in my face, and there was a funny moment involving tampons acting as wine corks, and then we all went and had a good old boogie! Now, I’m looking forward to the wedding! (I just read that back, and realised that I should clarify the nipple bit. It was a male nipple – some disgusting middle aged man!)Oh yeah, and Tanya is pregnant, so I am going to be an auntie again! About bloody time, it’s only 8 years since the last nephew! 26 Nov 2006 – Cheliferoides
Cheliferoides is a spider genus of the Salticidae family (jumping spiders). (Wikipedia)
Doesn’t that sound delightful? Jumping spiders. As if normal, non jumping spiders aren’t bad enough? The word’s nice though isn’t it. Cheliferoides. I’ve been reading some of the popular blogs on this here website, and I have to ask myself if I should be asking some of the deeper and more profound questions that some of these blogs are asking. Mine are just boring old snippets of my boring old life, although people must read them, as my little box on the left states that I have had 132 views in total. Although only 1 comment, and that was by Anna, so come on people, post me a comment and let me know what you’re thinking! Not necessarily about my boring blog, just generally, what are you thinking?I have had a very boring, lazy day today. I was supposed to be going to watch Robbie play football, which I was quite looking forward to, even though it would have meant getting cold and possibly wet, had it rained. But, I was looking forward to wearing my wellies, which I bought for my holiday, and have not worn since, having had no opportunity to do so. Alas, the football was cancelled, due to a waterlogged pitch, so I stayed at home and watched some of the Hollyoaks omnibus. I don’t really watch Hollyoaks anymore, but how is it that Max can’t see what a conniving bitch Clare is? He’s quite clearly going to be sorry when he wakes up one morning and she’s stolen all of his money. And I guess OB will just be able to say “Told ya so.” I saw someone that looked like OB the other day, in Basildon. So it’s the wedding on Friday. Whenever I type wedding, it comes out as weeding first. I have always had a problem with double letters. I used to do it at school when I was writing, my mind would jump ahead to the fact that a double letter was approaching, and I’d get confused and put it in too early. School would become schhol and matter would become maater. And now, wedding has started to become weeding, unless I think about it before I type it. Anyway, so the impending nuptials between my brother and his lovely betrothed, Tania. Sorry, I’m going to have to digress again. I just typed nuptials, and then wondered about the spelling, because don’t you pronounce it as nup-tuals? But it’s spelt like nuptials. How strange? So again, anyway, the wedding is on Friday, and I can’t believe how quickly it has come around. I can’t wait to wear my lovely dress. I’m listening to the Top 40 on Radio 1. I feel a bit like I’m 14 again, a feeling exacerbated by the fact that the fantastic Take That are Number 1! I think they were probably also number 1 the last time I listened to the Top 40. I used to sit and listen and tape any songs that I liked, and then I could listen to them on my walkman without spending money on the single in Woolworths or Bee Bees. Oh, do you remember Bee Bees? I used to like it in there, although I never had any money so I was limited to the bargain section, where you could buy about 5 CD singles from 3 years ago for 50p. Oh how times have changed. There is barely a singles section in any shop anymore. I guess the singles chart just doesn’t mean as much anymore, but I am glad that Take That have made it to Number 1, the song isn’t half bad (not a patch on their old stuff), and I still love them, and I think I have a brand new crush on Gary Barlow. As cute as Mark Owen still is, Gary is rather nice these days!Yesterday I read Point Blanc by Anthony Horowitz, it’s the second book in the Alex Rider series, and it is very good. I got it from the library yesterday morning, and I finished it last night. And it’s not like I didn’t go out, I went shopping yesterday afternoon. I was quite pleased with that, even if it is a children’s book!Well that blog certainly didn’t ask or answer any profound or deep questions now did it?Currently reading : Point Blanc By Anthony Horowitz

26 Nov 2006 – Jane Lane
Jane Lane, Lady Fisher helped Charles II of England to escape in 1651. Jane Lane (Daria) is a character on the MTV cartoon show Daria. Jane Lane (author) is a British historical novelist. (Wikipedia)
I liked that random article from Wikipedia because it’s quite similar to my own name. And it would be my name if I married someone called Lane. I know this is quite unprecedented, two posts in a day. But I realised that I omitted two rather important things from my last post. I could have gone back and edited, but I felt that one was already getting too long, and so decided to repost. Sorry for boring you.The first important fact is that I have a condition called Keratoconus. I have been calling it Kerry Katona for quite a while, it’s easy to remember that way, even though it’s not quite the right pronounciation. Wikipedia has the following on the subject: Keratoconus (from Greek: kerato – horn, cornea; and konos – cone), is a degenerative non-inflammatory disorder of the eye in which structural changes within the cornea cause it to thin and change to a more conical shape that its normal gradual curve. And it also has this loverly photo:As the eye doctor man at the hospital put it, my eye is growing in the shape of a rugby ball, when it should be growing in the shape of a football. But, it’s nothing to worry about, and as long as glasses are helping my sight, I don’t have to do anything about it. If they stop helping, I may have to wear rigid contact lenses to try and shape the eye back to how it should be, and if that stops working, corneal grafts may be considered. Which sounds gross. But I’m happy to forget it and push it from my mind, because the nice man at the hospital said that’s a long way in the future. And apparently, according to the BBC health website (I trust the BBC implicitly), my eye shouldn’t ever really look like that picture up there. Apparently in most cases you can’t tell someone’s got it just by looking at them. Anyway, second to that piece of news is a Strictly update. Can’t believe I forgot. Claire and Brendan went last night. I felt it was their time. My mum was a bit annoyed, but I reasoned that they were the weakest, and Claire looked a bit clumsy last night. I think she’d given up and decided that she was going, which maybe was wrong, but she had a good laugh! Girls Aloud were on there last night, and the male dancers were dancing with them! How rude. I have a certain amount of irrational hatred for Cheryl Cole, and I can’t bear to think of her dancing with Brendan! It’s sheer jealousy, I know, but I can’t help it!I was just reading someone else’s blog, and she had decided, probably in a moment of sheer boredom, to type her name into google, with the word addictions after it, and see what came up. What a good idea, I thought, I can copy that! Except, then I realised, that my name is Jane, and Jane’s Addiction is a popular band. No luck there. So I tried Jane’s obsession. First match was the following: “Jane is obsessed wth two things – the mathematical equation Pi and the all-girl punk-rock band Sleater-Kinney.” Neither of which are true. I have no problem with the mathematical equation Pi, I even find it mildly interesting. I like the Greek symbol used to represent it.Google also came up with a synopsis of “American Beauty”, as Lester Burnham has an obsession with Angela, the best friend of his daughter Jane. And everything else was just irrelavant. So then I tried Jane loves… This came up with Jane loves Tarzan – kinda obvious. I mean I do love Tarzan. He’s kind of hunky, and if memory serves, has a six pack. Having looked at a picture (which I tried to post but it wouldn’t let me 🙁 ), I have to say maybe not a six pack but he’s certainly defined. Or as Jenny would say – buff. Another match says Jane loves her music, this is true, I do. And then, another page – I thought, in the innocent way that I have about me, that maybe Jane loved a person named Richard, who had a nickname. A click on the link soon changed that way of thinking. is apparently coming soon, but while you’re waiting for it, there are a dozen or so links for you to check out. Amongst which are Adult DVD, Adult Chat, Adult Toy etc. Lovely. And then I discovered, you can buy T-Shirts! There was also Jane loves the Hoff – not true. Jane loves the holiday season – very true! Jane loves Maine – I’ve never been there, but I want to go one day, and I hope I will love it. Jane loves Cupcake – I like the word cupcake, and I do like to eat cupcakes. Jane loves books – in reference to Jane Eyre. I love books and I love Jane Eyre, so that one is very apt. Jane loves food – also true, hence the size of my arse. All very interesting, don’t you think? Go on, give it a go, type your name followed by loves, obesessions or addictions into Google and see what comes out.

06 Dec 2006 – Vi veri universum vivus vici
Vi veri universum vivus vico is a Latin phrase meaning: “By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.” (Wikipedia)
I haven’t written in a while, as I have been busy, having a life. That’s quite unusual for me, but it’s been true this last couple of days, as I attended my brother’s wedding on Friday – I was a bridesmaid, and it was freezing. When I’ve got some photos sorted out, I will put one on here, for anyone that cares what I looked like. I’m not sure if it will be clear from the photos just how cold it was, wearing a dress and nothing else (except for a small faux fur shrug thing, that quite frankly was decorative and nothing else). But believe me, it was freezing. If you’re not sure, wear a flimsy dress and go and stand outside for half an hour in December. Then you’ll get the idea. But it was a lovely day, and my brother and his new wife both looked lovely. Jamie looked nervous but got through it OK, and then we went back to the reception and had a good old boogie! I had my hair cut today. It’s now in a bob, and it’s slightly graduated at the back. I think it looks nice, for now at least, cos they straightened it for me at the hairdressers, but whether or not it will look as good when I’ve tried to do it myself is another matter! I can but try! And it’s going to be easier now I should think, cos there’s less of it, and she thinned it out too. But I can’t put it up, which was one of the bonuses of having long hair, even if it looked crap, at least I could just stick it up and be done with it. I think I look at bit like I am from the 60s, which suits me fine, cos I would have loved to live through the 60s! I might start wearing loads of eyeliner and listening to a lot of 60s music (which I kind of do already anyway). Strictly update – Carol and Matthew went on Saturday. That’s a crying shame, not cos of Carol, but because I really like Matthew. I like to be his friend, cos he seems like a really nice man. They were on It Takes Two on Monday, and he bought her a bunch of flowers to say thank you for being his partner, which was so sweet! Nobody else ever bothers to do that! Emma did really well on Saturday, and got a few 10s (they did 2 dances). And I’m not saying that she didn’t deserve them, she did, her waltz was fabulous, but Mark did a great samba, and they all said “Fantastic, brilliant, wonderful”, and then they all gave him 9s. I don’t know what he has to do to get a 10! It’s sooooo annoying! I am going to see The Holiday tonight, with Anna, at Bluewater. We’re going for free hopefully, because of this website I found called – we get emails about preview screenings of films and if they are local, we apply. We have only seen one so far, Failure to Launch, at Basildon, but they are not often shown locally to us, so it’s good that this one is! Therefore, I am signing off on this blog now, as I have to go and get ready to leave to go to Bas to meet my dear Anna.

16 Dec 2006 – Eddie & the Hot Rods
Eddie & the Hot Rods is a punk band from London founded in 1975. (Wikipedia)
Cool name for a band. Will at work was trying to get us to think of names for his band, but I couldn’t think of anything. I’m drunk. Actually I am not so drunk as I was, but I still feel a bit tipsy. I had a load to drink and didn’t feel drunk until I got home and then I felt drunk so I though I would myspace! As such, this will be short, as it’s late and I want to go to bed. I’m cold, I only have pyjamas on, and a pair of leggings. I love leggings, I am so pleased that they are back in fashion. Wearing them makes me feel like the ballerina I think I was in a previous life. How pretty is ballet? Everything about ballet is great – the word ballerina is pretty word, and ballet shoes are lovely and ballet bags, and ballet itself. I might start practicing ballet again, I used to love doing it, but I don’t think I am dainty enough anymore. I’m a bit heavier on my feet. I’ve got Biology by Girls Aloud in my head. I hate them.

08 Feb 2007 – Picayune
A picuyne is an obsolete Spanish coin. (Wikipedia)
Oh my gosh, the last time I blogged (hate the expression but not sure what else to call it) was on the 16th December. That’s an age ago! The reason for the long period of silence is that the internet at my house has been broken since just after Christmas, so the only usage I have had has been at work, which is fine for Ebay and checking myspace, but not OK for blogs, as I don’t really want anyone looking over my shoulder as I type, simply cos I already feel a bit silly for doing this as it is, without anyone actually witnessing it!So, the most exciting thing happened last night. I went to see a play called Underneath the Lintel, starring Richard Schiff. I confess that the only reason that I went was because I wanted the opportunity to see Toby from The West Wing in the flesh. I wish that I could pretend I was above such things, but I’m not, and I love The West Wing so so much right now. I’m obsessive about it and Jenny and I spend ages talking about it. So when I found out that Richard Schiff was starring in a play, I simply had to see it, and see it I did, last night, with Anna, Rob and Jenny. And it was really good. It was a one man show, so I wasn’t really sure what to expect from it, but he’s such a good actor that he’s able to carry it completely on his own. It was a mystery about a library book that is checked in 113 after its due date, and then the librarian investigates it. Sounds weird, and it was a bit, but it was good, and really funny in places. And then after the show, we waited for him outside the theatre, and got his autograph and our photo taken with him! Muchos excitement, although Anna and I turned into giggling schoolgirls upon being confronted with an actual famous person! I was shaking like a leaf cos I couldn’t believe that I was actually talking to and touching Toby from The West Wing. When I get the photos sorted from Rob I will post them on here, for the 3 of you who are interested! Not that much has happened to me since I last posted (that’s a better word), I have applied to uni, I have had a letter back from Ucas to say that my application has been received and is being processed, but I haven’t heard from any universities yet. I don’t know if I will, cos due to a major let down by one who shall remain nameless, I was unable to attach a reference to my application, which is worrying me a bit, but I’m trying not to let it worry me at all, and just wait to hear. I’m a bit worried that I have a bit of a crush on Christopher Dean. I am loving Dancing on Ice at the moment (especially as Ulrika Johnson has now left), and last night I had a dream in which I was going ice skating with a load of people, and Christopher Dean (and possibly Jane Torville), were there helping us train, and Christopher Dean was helping me put on my ice skates, and he told me that I have flat feet, and therefore wasn’t allowed to go ice skating, and I was gutted! But mostly because I wanted to skate with him. I don’t know what’s going on – he’s not exactly the most gorgeous man in the world is he?I’m going to keep this one short(ish) and sweet, I will now be able to post more regularly for you, Vicky and Anna, as I know you are the only two who read these things! And Anna, you’ve definitely heard most of what I have to say, as I see you almost everyday! It’s only 16 weeks until Anna and Rob’s wedding on Saturday! How excitant! And only 14 weeks until the hen party! Yee ha!Currently reading : An Unfinished Life: John F. Kennedy, 1917-1963 By Robert Dallek

16 Feb 2007 – Des chiffres et des lettres
Des chiffres et des lettres (literally meaning “numbers and letters”) is a French television programme. It was created by Armand Jammot and tests the numeracy skills and vocabulary of two contestants. (Wikipedia)
I love myspace. I know that’s a stupid thing to say, cos everyone who reads this blog knows that already, but I just do! It’s just so much fun. I wish it had been around when we were at school. I have a new past-time. I am currently reading the Baby-Sitters club books; I am trying to read them all from start to finish, the obvious problem with that being that I don’t own them all, but I’m keeping Ebay in business by trying to complete my set! I’ve spent a small fortune over the last couple of days, so I am going to have a break for week or two before I start searching again! I just found a new song that I absolutely love, it’s called Calendar Girl by Stars, and I kind of want to add it to my profile, but I love Speeding Cars by Imogen Heap so so much that I don’t want to take it off, I’m sad enough to load my profile and play that song over and over, cos I just love it! Jenny told me that it’s in an episode of The OC, but I don’t watch it, so I didn’t know that. I just found it on someone else’s profile once and decided to steal it! But Calendar Girl is also a really nice song, I am bidding on the album on Ebay to see what the rest of their stuff is like. So, Valentine’s Day has come and gone. It was totally uneventful, except for the fact that I received a card and I don’t know who it was from. It was from a company called Moonpig, from whom you can buy cards and personalise them. This one wasn’t personalised, it was just a Valentine’s card, but it wasn’t signed. I’m inclined to think that it was a promotional thing by the company, as I think I’ve used them before, but then that’s quite mean if it’s true isn’t it? I thought it was Anna, she’s sent me Valentine’s cards in the past, but she said that she would have made sure I knew it was from her and I know that she wouldn’t not sign a card either, so I’ve got no idea. If it’s anyone reading this, please tell me who you are, I am curious!I’m not entirely sure how I feel about Valentine’s Day. I try really hard not to be bitter about it, as I am sure I will feel differently when (if) I find myself a boyfriend, but at the same time, it’s so over the top! I would like to receive flowers on a random Tuesday, not a set aside day on which a convention says “You have to buy flowers today, and be romantic. You don’t have to be for the rest of the year, just for today.” Having said that, I guess when you get to a point where romance is no longer a huge part of a relationship, it might be nice to have an excuse to be a little romantic. Oh well, I am not sure how I feel about it, I just know I’m glad it’s over and done with for another year!I’ve got my new glasses. I really like them, the frames are thicker, and they are narrower than my old ones. They took a bit of getting used to, when I first wore them they made me feel sick, the same sort of sick I get if I read on the bus. But they are fine now. They bloody want to be, they cost me enough! And they are not even the Moschino ones that the annoying woman (who kept calling me ‘sweet’) was trying to sell me. I was brave though, and resisted, even though they were very nice. Last night I convinced Jenny to go a fancy dress party as Sally Bowles (Liza Minelli) in Cabaret. It was fun, cos she usually isn’t into all that kind of thing, but she wanted me to help her think of something, so I did. I went through my mum’s movie musical book and found lots of ideas. I said that she could dress as Sandy at the end of Grease, but she wasn’t happy to wear leggings without something to cover her bum. I said she should go as Esther Williams in any of her films, as she just wears a swimming costume in all of them, but surprisingly she wasn’t up for that either. So finally I convinced her to wear a black halterneck top, a pair of short black shorts, stockings and boots and a trilby or bowler hat and she’d be set. I hope she does it, cos she’ll look great!Currently listening : Life in Cartoon Motion By Mika

20 Feb 2007 – Nnenna Freelon
Nnenna Freelon is an American jazz singer. She has been awarded the Eubie Balke Award and the Billie Holiday Award from the Academie du Jazz. (Wikipedia)
I’m bored, that’s the only reason I am writing right now. I am trying to put some new music on my mp3 player, and it’s taken ages so I thought I would try to pass the time with a blog, but I can’t think of anything to write.
I’d really like my blogs to be interesting to people who don’t know me, but I can’t think of anything that might fall into that category. I’ve spent so long thinking about what I could write about that my music has nearly finished and I don’t really have to think of anything interesting to write.
Anna, Vicky, Jenny and myself (and probably Rob I think) are going to learn the Thriller dance for Anna and Rob’s wedding. I am so excited as I think it will look so cool if we can get it right, we’re going for a 13 Going on 30 re-enactment, which should be cool. I hope I can dance in my dress.
I’ve decided that what I want more than anything right now is a boyfriend. I’m so jealous of people who do have boyfriends. I don’t even have a crush on anyone right now (well, nobody that isn’t called Daniel Craig anyway), which is bad news, cos I have nearly always got a crush on someone real! I got over my work based crush months and months ago, and I haven’t had anyone to replace him! If anyone knows any single, nice, funny men that they want to throw my way, please feel free as I can’t find any! This revelation that I want a boyfriend is coming a week later than usual, as it’s usually Valentine’s Day that I realise that I am destined to be alone forever, but I didn’t care last week, it didn’t bother me, but it does now! No news on the card by the way, I want to know who it’s from! I am just so curious! I bet it turns out that it is one of those promotional things and therefore nobody sent it and so I’ll just be wondering forever and I’ll always think that in 2007 someone liked me well enough to go the effort to send me a card, when in fact it was just some website advertising their goods and ruining my life in the process!

Why Must I Be a Crustacean in Love?

“Why Must I Be a Crustacean in Love?” is episode five in season two of Futurama. (Wikipedia)

I’ve decided to start writing my blog again, as the last time I wrote was in January, which was ages ago, seeing as it’s April on Monday. I am officially closing my Myspace blog, but I might transfer all that I wrote onto here in some sort of archive, not for vain reasons but because I like reading over what I wrote all those months ago! All nonsense of course, but it’s my nonsense!

I am currently obsessed with ‘House’. I have watched just over half of the first series, and it’s amazingly brilliant. I can’t believe I left it so long before discovering it. Hugh Laurie is quite simply amazing in it, I love him and want to be a doctor so I can work for him.

I absolutely have got to start taking more photos. I say it all the time, but I never actually get around to doing it. I am just going to start carrying my camera with me wherever I go and that should work!
