Summer is a novel by Edith Wharton published in 1917 by Charles Scribner’s Sons. (Wikipedia)
It’s the Summer Ball at uni tonight. And the weather is seriously awful! Who would have thought that it was June? And Hayley from work is getting married today, so I feel bad for her, cos I am worrying enough about my hair tonight, never mind if I was a bride! Still, if the rain holds off then the photographer will be pleased because my dad always says that this kind of weather is the best for photos, too much sun isn’t a good thing! Of course the photographer is the only one thinking like that!
So I have my dress and my shoes (which I hate), both of which are recycled from previous uses, my dress is the one that I wore to the Summer Ball at work last year (the 2nd most horrible work do that I ever went to), and my shoes are a non-descript pair of black strappy heels, which don’t fit properly, are too high and are going to get stuck in the mud. But, I couldn’t find any that I liked to buy, and I don’t really have any money to be spending on new shoes, so I have to wear them.
I have reached the end of Series 3 of House, which is annoying as there is not even a release date for Series 4 on DVD yet. And it’s in the middle of its run on Ch5, so I can’t start watching it now. Grr! But, I suppose that gives me ample time to watch Sex and the City in it’s entirety, because I saw the film and loved it! And I also have to watch CSI Series 8, CSI: NY Series 3 and countless other television shows!

I don’t really have that much to write, so I don’t really know why I am bothering! I have spent a nice weekend with Anna and Vicky, we watched a considerable amount of Dawson’s last night, so that was nice! It’s never a chore to watch Pacey! And we had lots of House/West Wing/CSI/Grey’s discussions, as we always do when we get together! I feel as though I am getting House withdrawal symptoms, because it has been almost a week since I watched any new episodes! That’s just no good! I have just one more disc to watch to finish Series 1! And then I will need to start Series 2, and then Series 3, but Series 4 is only just on the telly, so hopefully by the time I have finished Series 3, 4 will be out on DVD and I can be ready for Series 5 starting on the telly!
Wow, what an exciting life I lead!

I’ve decided to start writing my blog again, as the last time I wrote was in January, which was ages ago, seeing as it’s April on Monday. I am officially closing my Myspace blog, but I might transfer all that I wrote onto here in some sort of archive, not for vain reasons but because I like reading over what I wrote all those months ago! All nonsense of course, but it’s my nonsense!
I am currently obsessed with ‘House’. I have watched just over half of the first series, and it’s amazingly brilliant. I can’t believe I left it so long before discovering it. Hugh Laurie is quite simply amazing in it, I love him and want to be a doctor so I can work for him.
I absolutely have got to start taking more photos. I say it all the time, but I never actually get around to doing it. I am just going to start carrying my camera with me wherever I go and that should work!
