So there I was, all prepared to jump back on the blogging wagon, and I went and left it another two weeks! Part of this was due to technical difficulties; if there’s anyone left out there who is remotely interested in reading my blog, you might have noticed that it just wasn’t there for a while. My wonderful tech friend Lewis, who looks after that side of things for me, sorted it out, and told me that I was the victim of a Denial of Service attack. This means nothing to me, apart from sounding scary, but he’s awesome, and he sorted it out for me, as he always does when I run into technical difficulties over here. He’s a star!
And then I ran into a bit of laziness; I’ve been fairly busy in the last couple of weeks, and the thought of blogging wasn’t doing an awful lot for me. But I’ve been writing posts in my head, and making lists, so I’m hoping for inspiration to hit again really soon. This post is just serving as a bit of a brain-dump; a portal back into the ways of the blogger, hopefully!
I want to share my recent favourite podcast discoveries, some music I’ve been enjoying, the recent Photo an Hour from last weekend, my trip to Edinburgh, the films I’ve been watching, the books I’ve been reading, and a few other things. I have an idea for a post swap that I think might be fun, but I need to gauge interest first. I want to get things looking a bit more me, because at the moment, that header isn’t working for me!
I need to get back into the habit of a weekly post sharing my favourite links, because there’s so much fun stuff out there that needs to be shared! There’s a couple of 33 Before 33 updates to be shared, as I near my birthday (just over two months – that’s not long to get more stuff ticked off!).
By the by, I just thought I’d share my latest wonderful find; Stokpic. You probably already know about it, but it’s a completely free website where you can download photos for use in almost any way you like. The above photo is one such image. Good stuff.
