Lincoln Christmas Market

At the weekend I went to the Lincoln Christmas Market. I’ve never been before, but my friend Hannah’s family live fairly close to Lincoln, and my friend Katy, who I haven’t seen in a year, also lives nearby, so it was great to do something very festive, and see Katy all in one go.

The market was great, loads to see and buy (though somehow none of us managed to buy anything other than food and drink!), but lots of walking! I took lots of photos, though hardly any of them are of the market itself. I became rather enamoured with the cathedral; it’s a stunning building and looked particularly beautiful in the afternoon sun.

As well as totally getting us all in a very festive mood, my trip to Lincoln was my first (but hopefully not my last) time there. It therefore crosses off number seven on my 31 Before 31 list! I am very pleased with myself at having achieved something so early this year – I have very high hopes for myself over the next eleven months!
